Do you have any suggestions for what you would like to see on the library blog?  Have you written a book review that you want to share with the world?  Do you think it would be cool if the librarians colour coded the fiction books instead of alphabetizing?  Send your thoughts, comments, pictures, reviews, or strong literary opinions of any kind to us at uhslibraryblog@gmail.com.  (We’re probably not going to colour code the fiction, though.)

This is the most fantastic library blog I’ve ever seen. In fact it’s the most fantastic blog I’ve ever seen. How has the world got along without it?

This blog is so awesome 🙂
P.S. Can we also have a page where we can request books we want the library to get? 😀

    • Thanks so much for your lovely feedback! We are working on adding more interactive features to our web presence, and we’ll let you know as soon as we have a request feature up and running. In the meantime, the librarians always welcome book suggestions from students if you just pop into the library and see them.

Can the library have a place where you can request the books you want to get? Like if somebody wanted to get a book, but if someone is reading it, can you fill a form to get it?

    • Excellent question! It is annoying when you get excited about reading a particular book only to find that someone else has borrowed it already. The good news is, the library does have a system that allows you to put books on reserve, which means that when the book comes back it will not go onto the shelves but will go into our special reserve holding area with your name on it so that you can come and pick it up. If you would like to put a book on reserve, just go to the circulation desk with the name of the book you want and ask the librarian there to put it on hold for you.

Hi, I second that comment from 2010 – it’s a fantastic library blog. Just checking that you don’t mind us putting one of your pics on our website for Anzac Day – here’s the link and I’ll also put a comment under that particular post http://www.wherethebooksare.com/ Cheers!
